Breakfast Hash and Feta Salad
It's kind of brunch-ish
Ingredients
- Bacon of whichever variety you fancy, mileage may differ
- ≥ 1 Russet potato
- Bell pepper, prefer red for better taste and visuals
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Chopped coriander or parsley, depending on which you can find in wherever you look
- Egg(s)
Bonus Ingredients
Get dat salad, because why not?
- Arugula leaves
- Balsamic cream
- Feta cheese
- Pomegranate seeds
- More salt
- Olive oil
Tools
- At least 1 knife
- A microwave
- A frying pan
- The thingy to scoop stuff out of a hot frying pan
Steps
- Chop bacon into pieces, tiny-ish, kind of 1cm sizes
- Chop potatoes and bell peppers into cubes, make sure they are kept separate
- Microwave potatoes, only potatoes, for 5 mins
- Fry bacon, until cooked/crispy
- Add potatoes and then bell peppers to the pan with bacon
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper
- Garnish with parsley/corriander
- Fry a sunny side up egg
- Serve!
Bonus Steps
Oh wait, don't serve yet
- Chop the Feta cheese into bite-size pieces
- Wash them arugula leaves
- Make sure to drain the water
- Put into bowl
- Dress with balsamic cream
- Add with Feta Cheese and Pomegranate seeds
- Add salt and olive oil to taste (optional)
